Schools With Associate Degrees
Associate’s degree programs are offered at community colleges as well as traditional colleges and universities and can be completed in two years or less. Associate’s degrees come in three classes - associate of arts degree or A.A. degree; associate of applied science degree or A.A.S. degree and associate of science degree or A.S. degree. Classes vary by school and degree program type.
For many students, an associate’s degree is a stepping stone to earning their bachelor’s, allowing students to enter the workforce quickly while also earning a higher degree. Associate’s degrees are offered in nearly every field ranging from computer technology to education to criminal justice.
